It's Later than you Think, Wake Up and Clothe Yourself with Christ

Wake Up! – The Urgency of the Hour (v. 11) Paul says, “You know the time… the hour has come for you to wake from sleep

Clean Up! – Cast Off the Works of Darkness (vv. 12–13) “The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness…”

Dress Up! – Put on the Lord Jesus Christ (v. 14) “But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.”

I appeal to you, please stop and take a look at your life and relationship with Christ…If it is not where it is supposed to be, you must understand It’s later than you think. The night is almost over. The Day is breaking.

So today:

If you’ve never trusted Christ, wake up! Salvation is nearer than when you first heard the gospel—maybe today is your last chance. Put on Christ by faith.

If you’re a drowsy Christian, wake up! Rip off whatever night clothes you’re wearing and dress yourself afresh in Jesus.

Let’s stand in unity not as people who have forever, but as people who know the Bridegroom is coming—maybe even on this day.
