Memorial Day Service

I started out with Isaiah 6:8 as Isaiah responded, Here AM I, Send me, this is our calling as Christians…The more clearly we see this passage the better we see that nothing can be done without God at the wheel. We are so inadequately prepared to do anything without God as the director.

When the gap between the generation that fought and won our freedom is too wide, the tendency for the people is to take for granted what we have.

Not everyone is called to take up arms, not everyone is called to teach and preach…but we are all called to Love the Lord God with all our hearts, our minds, our soul and all our strength…

Do not let go of that…

Memorial Day is for the remembrance of those who sacrificed their life for us today.  Remember them…Thank God for our fallen heroes.
