Jude - Stand and Fight

A variety of passages throughout the Bible remind us to remain vigilant remind us to be strong and to oppose those who aim to destroy the word of God.

As God's faithful followers, we are sometimes under constant attack by those who oppose him, people who oppose Christ----- not us!

Ephesians 6:10-18 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes

Jude wrote this to remind the Church of the need for constant vigilance comma to keep the faith strong and to oppose heresy which is a belief or opinion contrary to Christian faith.

3 things’ Christians can do to contend for our faith.

1. We must know the truth

2. We must grow personally with Christ

3. We must remain unified on the essentials

Jude is a great reminder of what we need to be doing, who we need to be on the look for to prevent us from being drawn from the light into darkness. Jude also instructs us to look out for the ones walking on the edge of darkness and help pull them toward the light.

We are living in the last days, Jesus is coming back.
