Ephesians 2: Christmas gifts

We have Christ, we no longer need to live under sin’s power. The miracle of Christ’s birth and death destroyed sins power over us…even with that knowledge, we still have fallen short…sometimes we even still feel like sinning. But now, we have the holy spirit with us…we can defeat that desire.

Christ broke through those barriers on the Cross…He didn’t die for the Jews or the Gentiles…Christ died for all…He died to abolish the system of Jewish law that made it impossible to have a relationship with the Father…Jesus made one people fusing us all together into the sonship of God…

We cannot lose our direction… we cannot lose our fear of God…America is not so special that we can do as we please and expect that God will just let it go…If we refuse to heed God’s word, our nation will not stand.
